Description: Existing 4 story, wood, steel, cast iron and masonry framed former YMCA facility converted into a boutique hotel.
The Restoration Hotel
Architect: Phoenix Architecture
Location: Charleston, SC.
Description: A 6-story addition to the existing boutique hotel with a fifth level pool and roof top bar. The structure consists of a cast-in-place concrete podium supporting hot rolled steel framing. The seismic force resisting system consists of both eccentrically and concentrically brace frames.
Jackson Lofts

Location: Cincinnati, OH.
Description: The renovation of a century-old industrial building into dorms for the Art Academy of Cincinnati involved extensive structural stabilization and reinforcement. Notably, re-supporting the exterior masonry bearing walls was a key challenge, addressing structural deficiencies in collaboration with Urban Sites Construction. The project showcases diverse material expertise, including historic masonry, new masonry, wood, steel, and concrete. The project's excellence in rehabilitation earned it the 2020 Cincinnati Preservation Association Rehabilitation award, and it is LEED Certified.

Description: The building is a 7-story, steel framed hotel with precast, hollow-core concrete plank floors supported on a 2-story, cast-in-place concrete parking garage.

The Curio Cincinnatian
Architect: Luminaut Architecture
Location: Cincinnati, OH.
Description: Extensive renovations at The Cincinnatian, built in 1882, prepared it to become Ohio's first Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel. Major structural overhaul was required due to revealed deficiencies during first-floor demolition, allowing daily hotel operations to continue. The result is a modern sophisticated hotel with high-end finishes.
Hampton Inn Newport
Architect: Phoenix Architecture
Location: Newport, KY.
Description: We provided structural engineering services for this 6-story hotel constructed of ICF walls with precast plank floor structure that is right by Newport on the Levee and opposite the Ohio River from Great American Ball Park.
